British/American English vocabulary of the day:
- Irish and British people queue up.
- Canadians line up.
- Most Americans get in line.
- People in New York get on line.
Language is fun. I find myself getting in line, sometimes, thanks to the various American influences in my life, but usually I’m a proper Brit about queueing up.
