Yes, I have managed to live on the internet for so many years without ever signing up on eBay. Until now, obviously.

I am a total internet selling n00b, but I figure the spare cash would be lovely and having free space in my bookshelves/wardrobe would be worth the hassle. I have a ton of books from my BA that are virtually useless to me now, you see. It seems a shame to hold onto them just because they’re books and they’re mine rather than shifting them so I can get something I’ll use daily instead.

So, really, is eBay worth it nowadays? Do students still hunt for textbooks there, or have the likes of Amazon and Play.com lured everyone away? Am I going to stand a chance selling books and a few other bits and pieces on there?
