Back in February Gavin Strange AKA JamFactory released the second series of his Droplet vinyl toy.

Featuring custom versions of the toy by a huge list of talent from near and far, the launch night at Bristol’s Fifty Fifty attracted a massive audience.  Here’s a little retrospective of the night, featuring all of the customs on show.

Oh my gosh, yay! Feel so awesome to see all of that, it was a great event, and I feel all special now for our Cakeology mentions! :D

Mummy and I did some cupcakes because it’s my birthday, and I didn’t get a birthday cake last year. More pictures on my flickr and over on our cake gallery. :)

cakeology: We had the great honour and pleasure of making cakes for Gavin Strange’s Droplet series 2 launch event this past weekend (6th Feb 10) and we’ve just got all of our pictures up on our flickr. The event was a massive success - loads of people came! Our cakes were available in the gallery section of the FiftyFifty store, next to a great selection of artist customised Droplets. So many people came to view the gallery that all 50 cakes, which were offered as complementary snacks to guests, were gone within the first half-hour! Jolly good all ‘round!
