Lessons Were Learned, but the Damage is Irreversible

tl;dr: guy’s character killed a load of paladins, guy refused to accept the consequences of his actions and threatened to kill his character, was talked out of it (hopefully), all caused by WotC making a feat that made area spells that hit allies and enemies have a higher chance of hitting.

Sounds like a nightmare, and eerily familiar from my NWN DMing experiences.
