Reliving the past again! My short magenta haircut happened pretty soon after I ditched the dreadlocks, it was my “growing the shaved undercut out” hairstyle.

This is from September 2004, and I know this because that’s the room from my second year at university, and I actually threw the magenta dye on my pretty blonde hair a couple of days after I moved in. Oh, those wild and crazy days.

I hopped on the bandwagon earlier on, thanks to faceyourmanga.com.

Wasn’t going to post this here… but eh, changed my mind!

I changed my avatars here on Tumblr and on Twitter, but I figured I should probably share the big version.

Here it is, me and my messy hair, from today. I gave it a bit of tweaking in Photoshop simply because it was a crappy picture, but now it looks a little better.

I also need to dye my hair again, it looks like crap, I know.

This is me in Summer 2003, just before heading to Liverpool to begin my undergraduate degree. Most of my hair was shaved off, the rest of it braided into fake dreadlocks in black, purple, and white. I’d also shaved my eyebrows off and was pencilling them in with either black or purple, depending on my mood.

It’s very strange to look at this and think about how I changed my appearance so dramatically while at university and how I seem to look like a somewhat more grown-up human being these days. Still, sometimes I miss having hair like that, it was fun.
