Day 06 - Favourite episode of your favourite TV show
I don’t really have a favourite show (as I’ve already mentioned :p) but when I read this, I instantly thought of Blink - the episode of Doctor Who that I recommend to everyone who’ll listen, whether they like Doctor Who or not :)
There’s a beautiful article here on that describes why the episode is so wonderful, and does so in much more eloquent a manner than I ever could :)
A less talented writer may have thought of blinking, of what happens when you close your eyes, but he or she might not have thought of the statues. Britain is replete with statues from its past that no longer mean anything in the 21st century…They’re everywhere, but nobody notices them. Moffat noticed them, and turned them into monsters.
Oh, and if you’re curious, here is the short story (also written by Moffat) on which Blink is based :)
Excellent choice! I actually was dubious about this episode before it actually aired. I was extremely pleasantly surprised. I wanted Sally Sparrow to become a companion, too, afterwards.

New ‘Thundercats’ Series Coming In 2011!
*BARELY CONTAINABLE EXCITEMENT!!!!!*
I was excited until this part:
Produced by Warner Bros. Animation, the new “Thundercats” series will be the studio’s first project to use anime-style animation, and promises to be a “21st century reimagining” of the classic ’80s cartoon series.
That poster/image/whatever is pretty excellent though. Come on, everyone, let’s all hum the classic theme tune now!
I’d vote for Baldrick, MP
